friends! I am going out of town for our Austin event tomorrow (April 11th) and thought to leave you with this tid-bit about the 2008 Rube Goldbergs at LeTourneau. What, pray tell, is a Rube Goldberg you may ask? Well, although I went to LETU I had no idea either...a regular Rube Goldberg is a way of "complexifying" a very simple task, say, turning on a light but in FIFTY
steps. An LETU Rube Goldberg is a challenge to our students to live up to this "complexifying". The competing students prep for weeks and we get to see it all go up in smoke, water and mayhem in a matter of seconds. Here are some great shots from today's Rube Goldbergs.
