It is indeed a wintry, blustery day at LeTourneau. Students duck in and out of classes, chins close to the chest, mittens, hats and scarves in dissaray from the wind and rain. (Could it snow today???)

The LETU Experience: This is Mission Emphasis Week. All around campus, missionaries from the all over the globe have an opportunity to speak to our students.

How can you pray today? Pray for our missionaries all over the world. Pray for our students, that they may see the vision of Pop LeTourneau - you can be a businesman, a trucker or a teacher, and serve God's kingdom. Our community is our mission field.

Today is Kris Erickson's Birthday. Kris is a LeTourneau Alumnus ('06) and is our new Director of the Annual Fund. Kris has a heart for our students and as you can see from the photo, the students appreciate her VERY VERY much. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRIS!

The LETU experience: I remember LETU Professor LetaFae Arnold quoting 1 Timothy 4:12..."Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." I look on the current students and want to shout it out to them, to encourage them and to see them, 10 years from now - where has God placed you? What mistakes have you made? How much have you grown? Will you share that with the new LeTourneau students? Will you share it with our elders?

Here's hoping that this blog helps all keep connected to LETU.
